This salve features wild, local creosote harvested by hand in Marfa, TX. It is formulated to soothe high-desert skin irritations including bug bites, cactus scratches, and other shallow cuts and scrapes. 

 Creosote is a potent antibacterial, antifungal, and insect repelling plant. The antiseptic properties of this salve are enhanced by tea tree and lavender essential oils. Comfrey, calendula, and plantain—all calming, skin-restoring herbs—are infused along with creosote into an emollient base rich in naturally occurring sources of vitamin E.
